Get your hands on a tufting gun and create a custom rug of your choosing at the premier tufting workshop in Toronto - the only place where you learn to both tuft and carve your rug to perfection. You will receive thorough instruction and supervision to help you create a piece that you love!
This workshop happens in two sessions:
Session 1: Tuft your piece
Session 2: Shave and carve your rug
We'll add the backing in between sessions so you can take your rug home at the end of session 2!
This takes place in our beautiful, cozy studio at 348 Pape Ave. in east Toronto (Leslieville). Please note there is 1 step at the entrance, and 3 steps to single-stall washroom.
We’ll do all of the prep work so you can do the most fun part, TUFTING! You’ll learn to thread and use a tufting machine to make your design come to life.
Once you’re done tufting, we’ll apply the backing for you and you'll return to learn how to carve your rug like a pro so you end up with a piece you love. Want us to shave it for you? No problem!
